Nervous System Literacy for Parents and Carers

Parenting doesn't come with a manual, and children don't arrive with an explanation of how their nervous system works.

This one-hour session explores how understanding the nervous system can help us make sense of emotions, behaviour, anxiety, regulating behaviours like self-harm, and every-day challenges of raising children.

You'll leave with a new perspective on what's happening beneath the surface, along with simple ideas you can start using straight away to support both your child and yourself.

Who it’s for: parents, carers and other adult family members
